What we cater
Shaku Maku is a Palestinian-Irish catering company cooking Levantine food for Dublin events — corporate lunches, all-hands meetings, weddings, engagements, christenings, community gatherings and private parties from ten guests up to three hundred. Everything is built around sharing: mezze spreads with hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouleh and falafel; wraps platters with lamb kofta, Lebanese grilled chicken and halloumi; wood-fired manaeesh and pizza; and the per-person Shaku Feast buffet with mains, sides and warm bread for larger occasions. Vegetarian options run through every section of the menu, with vegan and gluten-free spreads available on request, and our meats are sourced from halal-friendly suppliers.

How ordering works
- 1. Tell us the headcount. Start at the order page with your number of guests — the menu scales platters and feast pricing to your party size automatically, so you only pay for what feeds the room.
- 2. Build your spread or request a quote. Order directly online with card, bank transfer or a 50% deposit on qualifying orders — or send us the event brief and we'll come back with a costed quote within one working day.
- 3. We confirm kitchen and delivery times. Every confirmation lists prep, delivery and serving times so your reception desk, venue or event runner knows exactly what arrives and when.
Minimums, notice & delivery
Collection orders start at €100 and delivery orders at €350, with free delivery across the greater Dublin area on qualifying orders. We ask for 48 hours' notice as standard; for events of fifty guests or more a week's notice lets us lock kitchen timings around your run-of-show. Corporate accounts get consolidated monthly invoicing, purchase-order support and repeat-delivery scheduling for standing weekly office lunches.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for catering?
€100 for collection and €350 for delivery. Per-person Shaku Feast buffets have a 30-guest minimum so the kitchen can prep the full spread.
How much notice do you need?
Forty-eight hours is the standard minimum. For events of 50 guests or more we recommend a week so we can lock the kitchen timings and confirm delivery windows around your run-of-show.
Do you offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options?
Yes — every section of our menu carries a vegetarian option, with vegan and gluten-free spreads available on request. We can split a single delivery across multiple dietary trays so every guest is looked after.
